Beans not Brands

The Theatre Royal is celebrating it's 175th Birthday this weekend and they kicked it off with a preview of their 'Birthday Blaze'. After watching the theatre explode with light, sound and pyrotechnics, we stopped by at the newly opened 9Bar Coffee.

The interior artwork was created by Newcastle based design agency (and our close buddies) the mighty Reluctant Hero. The decor sees bespoke artwork printed onto heavily rusted steel sheets, wrapping huge areas in the 9Bar artwork and creating signage from the ground up. We've added some images below, but they don't do it justice so get yourself down to sample the best coffee in town and get a close up look of the surroundings in their full glory.
