Laughed at by the Gods

Last night we stopped by OneThirty3 in Hoults Yard to check out the latest exhibition from our good friend and pencil-master extraordinaire Amy Dover. We were greeted by a beautiful selection of original sketches and limited edition prints with unreal detail - which we recommend be seen close-up to be fully appreciated. The artwork extended to the walls of the exhibition space with a menagerie of foxy paste-ups.

If you're in Newcastle, get down to OneThirty3 this weekend (17th & 18th May) 7-11pm to check it out as part of the Late Shows.

GET LOST

One of our favourite sites is celebrating it's 1st birthday today. The mighty Lost Type has been providing us with the best fonts imaginable for a full 365 days. To commemorate, C-Front put together some celebratory graphics using some of our most loved fonts (pretty much all of them).

As a proper birthday present, we should probably start donating when we download and stop taking liberties.

Happy Birthday Lost Type, keep up the good work.

Cuts & Kicks

As well as being accumulators of all things graphic, our other weakness at C-Front is footwear. Here is a little sample of something combining the two obsessions, cut from some of a selection of awesome vintage wallpapers kindly given to us by our friends (and purveyors of everything vintage) Born in the Chapel who's shop will be online soon.

We're thinking about doing a series of cuts using pieces from our increasing wallpaper collection, just trying to finalise/decide on designs, so keep posted...
