We're amassing quite an extensive playing card collection, mostly consisting of vintage packs, but when we saw these Johnny Cupcake Cards we had to add them to the pile.

Divine Inspiration

We're a bit late with this (as it's nearly March) but we've just got our hands on one of these beautiful Trend Bible Calendars.

They include 12 trends for 2012 complete with colour palettes and a description of each trend for home interiors and kids lifestyle. Each month of the calendar features a trend that will be big for 2012 as well as relevant events/fairs.

An outstanding piece of work, as we've come to expect from Trend Bible. We hope the years going to be as good as the calendar.

Beans not Brands

The Theatre Royal is celebrating it's 175th Birthday this weekend and they kicked it off with a preview of their 'Birthday Blaze'. After watching the theatre explode with light, sound and pyrotechnics, we stopped by at the newly opened 9Bar Coffee.

The interior artwork was created by Newcastle based design agency (and our close buddies) the mighty Reluctant Hero. The decor sees bespoke artwork printed onto heavily rusted steel sheets, wrapping huge areas in the 9Bar artwork and creating signage from the ground up. We've added some images below, but they don't do it justice so get yourself down to sample the best coffee in town and get a close up look of the surroundings in their full glory.

Watch your step

Saw this on the steps on the way to work last year. Managed not to stack it down the stairs whilst stopping to appreciate it.

It's now pretty worn away, we have no way of knowing whether anyone actually slipped up on the words. Let us know if you did.

It must be love

Our Impossible Love prints are back from the screen printers so here's a few more detailed shots.

Each of the limited 35 screen prints are on 300gsm Munken Rough white with a gloss sealant.
