Carboard Shelter

Last night saw the return of Cardboard Shelter at The Pure Gallery, where Artists were invited to produce a piece of work on an A4-sized piece of cardboard. Below is our submission which someone snapped up. More of our favourites from the night to follow...

Nothing Without You

Our Nothing Without You prints are now available here on our online shop. They come as limited edition screen prints, hand numbered, embossed and signed on either brown or white recycled card (we couldn't decide which we preferred).

Setting Sail for Somewhere

Tonight saw a union of two C-Front favourites; with Chris Bourke's exhibition 'Setting sail for somewhere' opening at the mighty Pure Gallery. 

We headed along, excited to see more of Chris' amazing lino prints and weren't disappointed.
A glorious collection of black & white and hand coloured prints in Chris' unique style, with a vintage matchbox influence. Beautifully incorporating ionic imagery of birds, skulls, hearts, keys, ships and all things Bourke with the usual choice words.

As tends to be the case, we couldn't resist leaving Pure with at least one new addition and picked up a new print to add to our collection, along with a hefty sticker pack. We got side tracked talking to Chris and so forgot to actually take any photos of the exhibition so here's a snap of the contents of the sticker pack.

We like Boys like Dolls

We went for a stroll in the sunshine on our usual route to Tynemouth market, and on the way we came across Boys like Dolls in the Green Ginger Arcade.

Inside was a mixture of authentic retro treasures and ephemera inspired stationery and prints, vintage clothing and accessories, collectables and jewellery. A perfect balance of old and new, beautifully organised and displayed. We couldn't resist a couple of purchases and will definitely be visiting again.

Wed in Chez

Our best buddies got hitched a couple of weeks ago and we helped them put together the designs for their wedding stationery. The Groomzilla was a tough client, but we eventually met his exacting standards.
